Walking is encouraged via well marked paths and rights of way and there are national cycle routes close by. Nearby are several good quality golf courses, fishing lakes and magnificent beaches (with fantastic bird watching). The north Norfolk coast seaside towns are less than 45 minutes away for those families wishing to spend time on the beach. The famous Newmarket racecourse is less than an hour’s drive. There are fantastic retail opportunities nearby in King's Lynn (6 miles) and also in the many shopping Malls in Peterborough, Cambridge and Norwich - all of which are approximately one hour away by car. London is only an hour and a half away via Watlington station (to London, Kings Cross).
